What are we doing to help? Free Hand Sanitizer for the Community

We have taken it upon ourselves as a company to support our local businesses and communities. We are extending our resources in product manufacturing to produce hand sanitizers for organizations and households in need.

We’re living through uncertain times right now. Everyone has felt the effects of the novel coronavirus, even if they’re not personally infected.

The CDC has outlined five steps that everyone can take to prevent the virus from spreading, and everyone should do their part to “do the five.”

1. Avoid Close Contact

This is one of the most crucial steps we can take to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Avoiding close contact with people who are sick is the best way that you can prevent yourself from exposure to COVID-19. Additionally, self-quarantining is the best way to prevent yourself from infecting others if you’ve already contracted the virus.

At nu-x®, we’re operating with proper social distancing procedures in mind. You don’t have to leave your house or go into public to get your CBD. Instead, you can order nu-x® CBD products to be delivered directly to your door. It’s the safest, easiest way to procure the CBD you need.

2. Clean Your Hands Often

Keeping your hands clean is one of the best ways you can protect yourself against infection. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds whenever you return home from a public space or after coughing or sneezing. If you don’t have soap, you can use hand sanitizer with an alcohol content of at least 60 percent. In addition, try to refrain from touching your face if you haven’t washed your hands.

3. Stay at Home if You’re Sick

This goes hand-in-hand with avoiding close contact. If you’re sick, you need to stay home. By isolating yourself, you can ensure that you don’t become a vector for someone else’s infection. Only leave your house if you need medical care. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids and make sure you rest up!

4. Cover Coughs and Sneezes

We’re all guilty of coughing or sneezing without covering our mouths from time to time. However, this is one of the main ways that the virus can spread. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough, and make sure you wash your hands afterwards!

5. Clean and Disinfect

Make sure to clean and disinfect any surfaces that you frequently touch every day, like doorknobs, light switches, phones, and tables. Some researchers have said that the COVID-19 virus can live for hours or days on surfaces, so this is an important tactic. You can make your own disinfectant by mixing five tablespoons of bleach with a gallon of water.

While these are scary and uncertain times, we don’t need to give in to hysteria. By following these guidelines, we can work together to beat COVID-19.
